अफ़साना | दीवार पे चलती फिल्म
Jerry Anthony, one of our artist resident installations, is a film being projected onto the building facade. The film is an introspective collaboration between him and the resident’s where they share their stories through creative mediums of claymation, drawings, writing and more.
जेरी अंटोनी एक कहानीकार और फिल्मकार है जो पिछले 4 महीनों से नटवर पारेख कॉलोनी के निवासियों के साथ जुड़े है। बच्चों से लेकर महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों तक, जैरी ने विभिन्न माध्यमों के ज़रिये लोगों के अनेक भावों और अनुभवों को समझा। इन अनुभवों को ‘अफसाना’ नाम की एक एनीमेशन फिल्म में बुना गया है, जिसे इमारतों की दीवारों पर पेश किया जाएगा।

Public Art Mentorship

Sanskar Sawant mentored a cohort of 14 teenagers and youth of Govandi in the practice of public art, through different mediums and activities. From understanding the basics of composition and drawing to doing some heavy lifting with lino printing and calligraphy, each month, the mentees added a new chapter into their understanding of public art. Their journey has culminated into two wall murals and an exhibit called Matargashti, for the viewers to peek into the mentorship process.
संस्कार सावंत पिछले 6 महीनों से गोवंडी के 14 किशोरों और युवाओं के एक समूह को आर्ट की विभिन्न गतिविधियां सिखा रहे है। कभी कलिग्रफी के ज़रिये तो कभी कोलाज बना कर, हर महीने यह समूह कुछ नया सीखता था। 2 म्यूरल और ‘मटरगश्ती’, एक आर्ट प्रदर्शनी, इस सफर की झलक है

आइना, फोटोग्राफी प्रदर्शनी
Tejinder Singh mentored a cohort of young photography enthusiasts from the neighbourhood of Govandi in the art of making photographs. Aaina is a photography exhibit put together by six young photographers from Govandi who have taken to photography as a form of storytelling.
तेजिंदर सिंह ने फोटोग्राफी की कला में गोवंडी के उत्साही युवाओं के एक समूह का मार्गदर्शन किया । ‘आइना‘ छह युवाओं द्वारा बनाई गई एक फ़ोटोग्राफ़ी प्रदर्शनी है जिसके माध्यम से वह हमें अपने नज़रिये से एक कहानी सुना रहे है|

आवाज़, नैरेटिव मैपिंग
Nisha Nair Gupta has enabled 10 residents of Natwar Parekh Compound to create an intimate portrait of their lived experiences.
नटवर पारेख कॉलोनी के समुदाय के साथ जुड़ने के लिए हमने निशा नायर गुप्ता को आमंत्रित किया। निशा एक वास्तुकार, लेखक और “पीपल, प्लेस, प्रोजेक्ट” की संस्थापक है। इस जुड़ाव की शुरुआत एक लिसनिंग सर्कल से हुई जहाँ लोग एक दुसरे से बिना भेदभाव के बात कर सकें। कुछ महीनों के इस काम का परिणाम है ‘आवाज़’, जोकि 10 निवासियों के अनुभवों का एक अंतरंग चित्र है।
